AMD has made available a new FirePro Unified graphics driver suitable for some of its workstation video cards, namely version 14.502.1045, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

When it comes to supported GPUs, this release can be applied on configurations that contain certain FirePro, FireStream, and Radeon SKY graphics card models, including those found on HP workstations.

In addition to that, you can also download a Windows 10-compatible driver, namely version 14.20.1045, which should provide a little more performance when running 3D and Server workstation applications.

However, take into account that this update might encounter system hangs after rebooting the computer during audio driver installation and verification, and the FPCC could open an incorrect help page.

Still, if you consider applying this new version, simply save and run the appropriate package for your configuration, wait for all required files to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete update.

Moreover, once finished, make sure to allow the wizard to perform a system reboot to ensure that all changes take effect. If this task isn’t requested for some reason, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.
