AMD has rolled out its new 19.7.3 Optional (19.30.01.18) release of the Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver that improves gaming performance in Wolfenstein: Youngblood by up to 13%, and includes support for Radeon GPU Profiler and Microsoft PIX on Radeon RX 5700 series GPUs.

Moreover, the present update also adds new Vulkan extensions, fixes the slight performance drops in Radeon Anti-Lag, corrects the Radeon Overlay flickering seen when playing Vulkan API games, and removes corruptions observed in Adobe Premier Pro 2019 benchmarks.

In addition to that, AMD removes some Radeon RX 5700-related bugs that prevented League of Legends or Windows Mixed Reality from launching, caused DirectX9 application crashes, or lead to minor stuttering in Fortnite during the first few minutes of gameplay.

However, the release might still encounter certain issues with Radeon Performance Metrics, Radeon Overlay, Radeon ReLive, or with Radeon RX 5700 series and Radeon VII cards, as well as other problems as described in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the 19.7.3 release consists of 2 downloadable packages targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10, only for 64-bit architectures, as well as one “Auto-Detect and Install” utility suitable for both OSes that saves the right package and helps with the installation.

Therefore, save the appropriate bundle, remove any previous version from your computer, run the new file, follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade, and don’t forget to perform a reboot (either manually or automatically) to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.7.3 Optional, apply it on your system, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
