AMD has rolled out its new 19.10.2 Optional (19.30.31.05) release of the Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver that improves gaming performance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (up to 18%) and The Outer Worlds (up to 8%) when using the producer’s Radeon RX 5700 XT card.

In addition to that, the current update adds support for Chernobylite Early Access, removes the black screen seen when launching League of Legends, and fixes the Borderlands 3 hang encountered when running the in-game benchmark or changing resolutions.

Moreover, version 19.10.2 resolves the thread stuck crash and TDR when there is a high GPU load active on some Radeon RX Vega and Radeon RX 5700 series GPUs, and corrects the flickering experienced by some USB Type-C displays.

However, the release might still encounter specific issues with Radeon VII and Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products, Performance Metrics Overlay, Radeon ReLive, Radeon FreeSync, and other minor problems as described in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the 19.10.2 release consists of 2 downloadable packages targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10, only for 64-bit architectures, as well as one “Auto-Detect and Install” utility suitable for both OSes that saves the right package and helps with the installation.

Therefore, save the appropriate bundle, remove any previous version from your computer, run the new file, follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade, and don’t forget to perform a reboot (either manually or automatically) to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.10.2, apply it to your system, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
