The release is targeted only at Radeon VII configurations

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin Edition driver, namely the 19.2.1 build (18.50.19.01), which adds support for the producer’s latest GPU model: the Radeon VII graphics card.

However, AMD’s update might still encounter issues with Radeon WattMan, Radeon Overlay, Radeon Settings, and FRTC, as well as experience some compatibility problems between the new Radeon VII GPU and X399 motherboards, Apex Legends, or Windows 7 (when performing a timeout detection and recovery).

Regarding compatibility, know that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems. Also, the current release is only targeted at desktops that have a Radeon VII card.

Therefore, to enjoy the benefits of this release, save the appropriate package for your computer, remove any previous version from your computer, run the downloaded package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete update.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon VII Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.2.1, apply it, and constantly check our website to be the first to find out when the next version will be available for download.
