Yamaha has just released new USB-MIDI drivers for use with Studio Manager V2 Host, Editor, PM1D Manager and DME Designer. Version 3.1.3 comes with minor bug fixes.

Starting with this version, Yamaha announces that the USB-MIDI Driver is no longer available for Windows 7 SP0. Instead, users are advised to update their OS to Windows 7 SP1.

The package contains a setup file which will guide you through the installation process, the release notes as well as an installation guide.

Supported OSes are Windows 2000, XP (SP3), Vista (SP2), 7 (SP1) and 8. An important note is that this package will install driver version 2.3.3 on machines running Windows 2000 and XP.

Yamaha mentions an important notice on its website saying that this driver is for use with Studio Manager V2 Host, Editor, PM1D Manager and DME Designer.

Below are the links to the drivers. There are two versions available, for both 32 and 64-bit architectures. Download them, install them and stay “updated one minute ago.”
