After so many months of quiet development, Biostar has finally come up with a hefty range of new products, and this can only make us smile with joy.

After the somewhat promising X79 debut and its sudden halt, it's the turn for Intel's socket 1155 to shine and Biostar now proudly displays a wide assortment of H77, Z77 and B75 boards. We started listing drivers for these new motherboards, and for today we bring you the TZ77A and TZ77XE3.

Biostar TZ77A can run with both second-and third-generation Core i7 and i5 CPUs, and can accommodate up to 32 GB DDR3 in a 4-slot memory architecture. With active support for 6Gb/s SATA3 and USB 3.0, future owners will be able to enjoy fast transfers with any modern storage solution.

Solid capacitors and an 8-phase power design are the key elements for a stable and prolonged life; too bad that the TZ77A only supports the AMD CrossFireX when it comes to multi-GPU configurations, thus limiting the buyer target.

On the other hand, the TZ77XE3 supports both Nvidia's SLI and AMD's CrossFireX technologies and is obviously targeting a wider potential customer range. USB 3.0, 6GB SATA and dual eSATA ports are standard, while the power deployment uses a 13-stage design perfectly suitable for overclocking purposes.

The TZ77XE3 also comes with some really nifty hardware additions, such as a physical On/ Off toggle switch for easily shutting down and restarting your computer, or the Rapid Debug3 digital LED panel displaying the specific error codes in case a malfunction occurs. And even more, this display also shows the CPU temperature!

As for the basic specs, the TZ77XE3 also runs with both SandyBridge and IvyBridge CPUs and a maximum of 32 GB DDR3 RAM, comes with THX TruStudio Pro support and 8-channel audio output with Blu-ray HD sound capability.
