ASUS has just released a new firmware package targeted at its new PadFone Infinity device, namely version 10.12.3.116, which consists of several downloads, each compatible with a specific stock-keeping unit or SKU.

Specifically speaking, if you don’t know the SKU of your device, before considering a firmware update, go to the settings section, tap on the “About Padfone” option, and then on the “Build Number.”

From there you will be able to find out the device’s stock-keeping unit, as well as the currently installed firmware build. As an example, if the build number appears “WW_A86-10.X.X.X” or similar, the SKU is WW and the current software version is 10.X.X.X.

Bear in mind that the update process isn’t capable of switching between different SKUs, therefore make sure you install the correct one. Applying a wrong stock-keeping unit can result in an update failure that can cause serious device malfunction.

In addition to that, you should also know that once version 10.12.3.116 is applied, downgrading to any previous firmware release will not be possible.

With this in mind, if you intend to install the current release, download Firmware 10.12.3.116 for The new ASUS PadFone Infinity, get and apply the package, and constantly check with our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
