We present you the latest firmware for LG's line of network attached storage (NAS) solutions. Some of the listed products have been discontinued and that's why we decided to let you download the files, as it looks like there will be no more support development for the end-of-life products.

The discontinued series are N2R1DB2, N2R1D, N2B1DD2, N2B1DB2, and N2B1D. All the products in this series are supported for firmware version 2660 which brings better compatibility with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and improved DLNA thumbnail function.

You can easily update the firmware in your units after downloading the BIN file. All you have to do is click the "Search" button on the "System" category on LG-NAS WebMenu.

Navigate to "System", then "Firmware". Locate the firmware_2660.bin file, then click the "Upgrade" button. The whole process should take 1-5 minutes, with the NAS automatically restarting at the end.

Please make sure you back up all your data on the NAS, as the upgrade process will erase everything, returning the device in its original factory state, resetting the admin password, as well. Download the 2660 firmware for the discontinued LG NAS series from Softpedia: it's free and it's clean!

We'll be back soon with the firmware for new LG products.
