14 DAY TRIAL // TRENDnet has recently launched the initial release firmware for its TEW-753DAP (Version v1.0R) ceiling access point. The device features PoE (Power over Ethernet) and IPv6 support.
The small AP has one Gigabit PoE port and a low-profile, discrete housing.
To flash the firmware to your device, download the archive available at the link below and extract its contents to an accessible location (such as your desktop). Next, log into your device configuration page by accessing http://tew-753dap. Select the “Management” menu and go to “Firmware Upgrade.”
Browse for the recently unzipped files and select the bin. Click “Apply” and wait until the update is complete and the device reboots.
Not all configuration files can be carried over to different versions, so it is recommended that you restore your device to factory settings after every firmware update.
