Even though the support sites still mark Sony PlayStation Vita Firmware 3.18 as the latest official release, the producer has just announced PS Vita Firmware 3.30 that adds support for Themes and can now be downloaded from our website.

According to the producer’s post, the new update will allow you to configure the Start and Home screens, modify system application icons, and change system background music. Also, you will be able to manage downloaded themes through the PS Vita system’s Settings app.

In order to be clear, non-game themes such as Crystal, Four Seasons, and Stitching will now appear on the console’s PlayStation Store, while the fan-favorite game themes (Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway, and Freedom Wars) will be available for purchase later on.

In addition to that, the new 3.30 firmware now has the ability to display Trophy rarity when viewing Trophies.

Last but not least, if you usually set up events through the Calendar app, Sony’s update allows you to send event files from the Calendar via Messages or Email to others regardless if they are in your Friends list or not.

When it comes to upgrading to this release, simply save the downloadable .PUP file onto a formatted memory card, insert it into the PS Vita, and initiate the installation from the Settings > Start > System Update > Update Using PS Vita card.

That being said, download Sony PlayStation Vita Firmware 3.30 and apply it on your device to benefit immediately from these new changes. Also, constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
