With just three days before the end of the year, here we are bringing you the latest in the BIOS news.

Obviously, the news of the day as far as BIOSes are concerned is the F7 version for Gigabyte's X79 boards, some of which went up in smoke (and small flames) when their owners tried to push them beyond their OC capabilities. Dubbed the "emergency" BIOS, Gigabyte's F7 is said to improve the protection routines and prevent "smoke and small flames" from occuring.

And with no more delay, here's today's list:

Asrock AD2500B-ITX Bios 1.00 Asrock 880GMH/U3S3 Bios 1.80 Gigabyte GA-X58-USB3 (rev. 1.0) Bios F5C Beta HP G62-348NR Notebook BIOS F.37 for Windows 7 HP G62-352CA Notebook BIOS F.37 for Windows 7

As both hardware and software evolve, old BIOSes might become unstable or simply prevent you from using your computer to its full potential. Therefore it is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available.

Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest BIOS files.
