If it wasn't for the beta BIOS for the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-D3 (rev. 2.3), we'd have had an all-notebook day.

Nevertheless, the Gigabyte board can be dubbed as today's highlight: a nifty AM3 board, ready for the PhenomII X6 processors, suitable for both multitasking and gaming/multimedia. The board runs with Nvidia chipsets for both south and north bridge and can accommodate up to 8 GB DDR3 at a maximum speed of 1666 MHz when overclocked.

Users get high-current charging capabilities despite the absence of USB 3.0 connectivity as USB 2.0 port specifications can be upgraded using Gigabyte's proprietary On/Off Charge utility.

8-channel high-definition audio is available thanks to the Realtek ALC888B codec, while the integrated Nvidia GeForce 7025 video chipset provides neat graphic capabilities. BIOS, drivers and utilities for the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-D3 (rev. 2.3) are available for download.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available. Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest BIOS files.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a BIOS or device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong BIOS or driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
