SteelSeries has outed a new driver package that is compatible with some of its devices, namely version 3.1.5 targeted at the Siberia Elite and 9H headsets, as well as at the Rival mouse unit.

This newly released update is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, as well as with the Mac platforms (including the latest one).

As for the changes, version 3.1.5 adds Team IG Rival support, fixes the SteelSeries Engine 3 issue where the user would be improperly alerted that a firmware update was needed for Soundcards, and resolves the occasional app detection problem that wouldn’t work on Mac platforms.

When it comes to installing the update, simply get the downloadable package, run it as administrator, and follow the on-screen instructions. When the installation has finished, make sure you reboot your system so that the changes take effect.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your SteelSeries device, and choose the link that best suits your system’s platform.
