Samsung has outed a new firmware package targeted at its NX30 smart camera, namely version 1.20, which includes several changes that improve the device’s overall performance, stability, and usability.

If applied, this fresh update adds Romanian and Vietnamese language support, enhances the Continuous Normal capture feature, and improves 1080 (60p) movie recording when DIS (anti-shake option) is on.

In addition to that, version 1.20 changes the “Minimum Shutter Speed” option and improves the smartphone wireless function usability.

Moreover, this latest firmware adds a new Group Share option that is similar to the MobileLink multi connection and, when connected to a compatible smartphone, users have the ability to change AutoShare, MobileLink, and Remote Viewfinder features.

When it comes to installing this release, you should know that, during the upgrade, the camera automatically turns off and on 3 times, so make sure not to power it off or remove the battery – simply wait for it to display the appropriate message.

Therefore, get and extract the downloadable archive, copy the .bin file onto a formatted SD card, and insert it into the NX camera. Now, go to Menu → Device Information → Software Update → Body Firmware, select “Yes” to initiate the upgrade, and wait for the device to perform the update.

That being said, download Samsung NX30 Smart Camera Firmware 1.20, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and enjoy your newly-improved NX device.
