There are four Windows-compatible driver versions that incorporate all of Microsoft’s OSes

Realtek launches 4 new driver versions that are compatible with all of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems, and are targeted at its PCI Network Interface Controllers (10/100/1000M Gigabit Ethernet).

Specifically speaking, the 5.810 version is compatible with XP and Server 2003, and the 6.252 driver is supported by Vista and Server 2008.

In addition, the 7.069 package is targeted at Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, and last but not least the 8.012 version comes with an Auto-Installation Program that is suitable for the Windows 8 platform.

As for the devices that are compatible with these drivers, their names are RTL8111B, RTL8168B, RTL8111, RTL8168, RTL8111C, RTL8111CP, and RTL8111D(L). Moreover, the RTL8168C, RTL8111DP, RTL8111E, RTL8168E, RTL8111F, and RTL8411 PCIe NICs are supported as well.
