Realtek has unveiled new LAN driver versions targeted at its PCIe Gigabit and Fast Ethernet family controllers, which are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows operating system.

Specifically speaking, Realtek has outed version 5.814.0918.2013 (for the Windows XP and Server 2003 platforms) and 7.075.0918.2013 (for the Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 OSes), containing only the needed LAN driver.

However, the these two drivers also benefit from a related installation package that keeps the same version, but, as a disadvantage, has a larger file size – 5.7 and 5.9 MB, compared to 802 and 880 KB, respectively.

In addition to that, an installation program has also been released for the Windows 8 and 8.1 platforms, namely version 8.020.0918.2013, and it doesn’t have any related drivers-only package whatsoever.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes both your operating system and desired installation method.
