Prestigio has made available a new firmware package targeted at its MultiPad 4 Ultra Quad 8.0 3G tablet, namely version 1.0.03, which can be applied either OTA (over-the-air) or through a manual installation.

The newly released firmware updates the Prestigio applications and APN and SPN files, and fixes OSD translations, the Bluetooth tethering issue, as well as the long PIN code problem.

As for installing this version, get and expand the downloadable archive, copy the “update.zip” file onto an SD card, and insert it into the tablet, or transfer the same file on the device’s internal memory through a USB cable.

After the tablet has received the update, turn off the device and then power it back on while holding the “Vol+” button, so that it can enter the Recovery mode. Afterwards, choose “Apply update from sdcard2” if you have copied the firmware onto an SD card, or “Apply update from sdcard” otherwise.

Now navigate to the firmware file using the “Vol-” button, confirm the selection with “Vol+,” wait for the update to be applied, and press again “Vol+” when the tablet has finished installing the new firmware version.

That being said, download Prestigio MultiPad 4 Ultra Quad 8.0 3G Firmware 1.0.03, take into account all the above-mentioned aspects, and enjoy the new benefits that this latest version adds to the device.
