Pioneer has made available a new firmware package targeted at its newly released Remix Station 500, namely version 1.08 developed for the RMX-500, which consists of two download records, each compatible with Mac and Windows platforms.

This fresh update fixes an issue where the output audio level was lower when the RMX-500 was used as a USB audio interface, and resolves a problem with the DJ controller that wouldn’t work as a plug-in device when certain computers were used.

As for installing this release, just get the proper downloadable package suitable for your computer’s operating system, run the file as an administrator, select the language, and follow the on-screen instructions.

This might sound easy, but know that using the device’s power button or any other controller during the update, as well as disconnecting its power, or even a blackout, might lead to an update failure, which could cause serious damage to the Remix Station.

However, if you consider applying this latest version, then download Pioneer RMX-500 DJ Controller Firmware 1.08 for the suitable OS, install it, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
