The Drive Utility allows for the configuration of the Quiet Drive and PureRead features. The first makes sure the disc spins at the minimum speed needed to complete the tasks, while the second makes the drive reread the obscured data from scratches to extract the original music as accurately as possible.
Other interesting features include up to 156% more data storage capacity than a 50GB Dual Layer Blu-ray disc with the BDXL format.
Speed is important and this BD burner can go up to 6x on BD-R single and dual-layer discs or 4x for triple and quad-layer.
