Today, Phottix has just made available new firmware versions targeted at one of its TTL flashes, namely version 3.20 and 1.02B5 compatible with the Mitros TTL flash for Nikon and Canon cameras, respectively.

Phottix’s fresh updates include several improvements that increase the compatible devices’ overall performance and stability. In addition to that, the release consists of separate download records suitable for Mac and Windows platforms.

In order to apply this latest firmware, get and expand the downloadable archive, run the “Pottix Mitros PC Upgrade V2.01.EXE,” power on the Mitros, and connect it to the computer through a USB cable. Now click on the “Version” icon, and ensure that you don’t already have the latest firmware.

If not, click on the “Software” icon, browse and select the .FDS file, wait for the progress to complete, and afterwards, click on the “Icon” image and select the .FIF file (wait for this process to complete as well).

After you have successfully installed the firmware and the “Update OK” message is displayed, exit the update software, remove the Mitros TTL flash from your PC, and you’re good to go.

That being said, download PHOTTIX Mitros TTL Flash Firmware 3.20 for Nikon or download PHOTTIX Mitros TTL Flash Firmware 1.02B5 for Canon, take into account the above-mentioned aspects, and enjoy your newly updated TTL flash.
