Today, Phottix has made available a new firmware package developed for one of its TTL transceiver flashes, namely version 3.21 compatible with the Mitros for Nikon device, which includes a few changes that improve the unit’s overall usability.

Specifically speaking, this release resolves the overexposure issues encountered in Auto FP mode while on high ISO values, optimizes the overheating protection functions, and increases the number of flashes needed to engage the overheating feature.

When it comes to installing this version, get and extract the downloadable archive, run the proper upgrade utility compatible with your operating system, and connect the Mitros to the computer through a USB cable.

Now power on the TTL flash, wait for the device to be recognized by the computer, and click on the “Version” icon to ensure that the currently installed build is older than this present release.

If checked, click on the “Software” icon, browse and select the “N_MitrosFirmware3_21.FDS” file, and wait for the new firmware to be applied.

After the update has been installed and the progress bar has completed, click on the “Icon” image and repeat the same process, only this time you need to select the “N_MitrosIcon1_00.FIF” file from within the same folder.

That being said, download PHOTTIX Mitros TTL Flash for Nikon Firmware 3.21, apply the new version, and enjoy your newly updated device.
