Today, Phottix has just outed a new firmware package targeted at one of its transceivers, namely version 1.06F compatible with the Mitros+ TTL flash for Canon cameras, which includes a few changes that should improve the unit’s overall usability.

Specifically speaking, this fresh update optimizes the Flash Head Orientation Icon display on the screen when the unit’s standard 0 degree position is changed, and adds several improvements for the recycling time and flash power levels.

In addition to that, version 1.06F also optimizes the device’s firing behavior and fixes certain overheat protection problems, allows the Mitros+ to be used even if the ready lamp is not on, and resolves issues regarding the maximum flash count feature when the unit’s Multi mode is set to “N—.”

Moreover, Phottix’s fresh release improves various Odin Tx Mode settings by adjusting the Zoom levels for the Local flash and changing the Rx flash groups behavior so that they don’t fire all full power in Test mode.

As for installing this release, download and extract the proper archive for your system’s OS, run the upgrade software from within the newly created folder, connect the Mitros+ TTL flash to the computer through a USB cable, and power on the device.

After the system has properly recognized the TTL flash, click on the “Software” and then on the “Icon” buttons, wait for each version to be upgraded, and when the installation has finished, you can exit the software and remove the USB cable.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your system’s platform, get the archive, and update your TTL flash. Moreover, don’t forget to check with our website as often as possible in order to be up to date with the latest releases.
