14 DAY TRIAL // AMD pushed out a new hotfix driver for Catalyst that targets a bug found in QQ Dancer software. Andrew (@CatalystCreator) is yet to make an announcement, but official download links are already available.
Many websites list this driver as 12.7 Beta 8.981.2.1, but on its official page, article number GPU-170, dated 6/26/2012, the hotfix name is “AMD Catalyst 12.6 Hotfix Driver for QQ Dancer.”
On the same note, the driver info file states that the version number is 8.981.2.1000 with release date 06/25/2012.
The hotfix addresses a QQ Dancer bug that users might bump into while playing the game online:
- This hotfix driver resolves the random black screen issue seen with the online game QQ Dancer. As far as devices goes, the issue does not affect all Radeon chipsets, but only AMD Radeon HD 7900, Radeon HD 7800 and Radeon HD 7700 Series.
