OUYA has just made a new firmware package targeted at its game console device available, namely version 1.0.393-r1, that should improve the device’s overall performance and add functions.

Specifically speaking, the newly released file updates the network selection menu by improving the communication of important aspects, tweaking the Wi-Fi list so that it auto-refreshes, as well as adding workarounds to other various bugs.

In addition, the firmware is able to shut down the wireless feature when the Ethernet connection is used so that it increases the performance and download speed, and moreover, it will re-enable the WiFi when the Ethernet is disabled.

Furthermore, the download process won’t get stuck in “Queue” mode any more, the device crash issue when too many characters are entered in the search window is history, and pressing the system button on two controllers at the same time won’t be recorded as a double tap.

So, now that you have taken into account all the important aspects, if you consider applying this package, follow the link below, download the latest firmware for your console, and update to the latest version.
