Nikon has just made available new firmware updates targeted at its interchangeable lens cameras that require FT1 users to upgrade their device to Nikon FT1 L Mount Adapter Firmware 1.20 in order for the autofocus function to work properly.

As for the newly-released builds, the producer has outed version 1.10 compatible with the 1 AW1 camera, 1.20 developed for the Nikon 1 S1, 1 V2, 1 J2, and 1 J3 devices, as well as build 1.40 targeted at its 1 J1 and 1 V1 digital units.

These fresh updates add support for “FULL/LIMIT” focus limit switch on the 1 NIKKOR VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens and fix an issue that didn’t allow PictBridge standard to print photos when using certain printer models.

In addition to that, the compatibility problems with the Lexar UHS-I SD memory card have been resolved, the issue regarding wireless shooting using the WU-1b adapter has been fixed, and .MOV file formats can now be read properly.

Moreover, an underwater flash option has been added to the AW1 camera, and various compatibility issues with the FT1 mount adapter have been resolved.

Still, bear in mind that not all changes apply to each compatible camera; you can view the complete changelog for your specific camera model on the description page of each downloadable package.
