ASRock has recently released a new set of BIOSes for some of its FM2/FM2+ motherboards, namely for FM2A55M-HD+, FM2A75 Pro4+, FM2A75M-HD+, FM2A78 Pro4+, FM2A78M-HD+, FM2A88M-HD+, and FM2A88X Extreme4+.

The new versions have few common changes, among which a modification in the share memory rule, an update for the EZOC table for 7700K and 7850K APUs, as well as improved FM2+ 7850K CPU frequency.

To update, download the BIOS for your motherboard model and extract the contents of the archive to an accessible location. You will see that there are three versions available for each of the BIOSes. If you're running Windows, use the one for this OS, as its installation requires a simple double-click.

If you're using other operating systems, get the “Instant Flash” version and copy the update file to a removable storage device (a FAT32 formatted USB drive would be my pick). Next, restart the system and press the F6 key when in POST. This will bring up the “Instant Flash” utility, which will detect and help you update the BIOS.

Download the latest BIOSes for ASRock's FM2/FM2+ motherboards, install the one for your model, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
