If you own an HD 7900 series graphics card, you might want to test the new AMD Catalyst display driver version 8.921.2 RC11.

The new driver revision allows the HD 7900 users to enable Super Sample Anti-Aliasing and Adaptive Anti-Aliasing features for their cards, using the Control Center utility. Nevertheless, the applications must support the Anti-Aliasing feature natively, since the forced option is not available.

Installing the new driver fixes a lot of errors which occurred in games like StarCraft 2, BattleForge, Dragon Age 2, or MW3. At the same time, performance improvement is offered for the following titles: Aliens vs. Predator, BattleForge, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Crysis Warhead, and F1.

It looks like there is still a lot of work ahead and a new driver for the AMD HD 7900 series cards will ensue in a rather short time, but we'll be ready to tell you all about it.

You can read more about the new features on the download page for AMD Catalyst Display Driver 8.921.2 RC11.
