It will enhance the GeForce experience suite with h.264 video capture

People have been recording their gameplay sessions for years, with Fraps or whatever else, so NVIDIA decided to get in on the action.

And since it already had the Geforce Experience suite (which enhances individual game performance by analyzing the system and spec requirements), it simply included one extra feature.

Said feature is called Shadwoplay and can do more than just record gameplay.

Which is to say, as if the high-quality h.264 format wasn't enough of a brownie point, NVIDIA made it so that you could go ahead and stream in that quality, in real time.

There will be some performance impact, but it should be minimal, and on high-end computers, this point is irrelevant anyway, since games run at over 100/200% or better anyway.

Shadoplay will be part of all the NVIDIA GeForce drivers from now on.
