Just now, NVIDIA has rolled out a new Quadro graphics package, namely version 340.66, which is compatible with most of its Quadro series video cards, as well as with the GRID K1 and K2 devices.

This new release can be applied on both desktop and notebook configurations running one of Microsoft’s Windows Vista (only for desktops), 7, 8, or 8.1 operating systems, either 32- or 64-bit architectures, or one of the Server 2008 64-bit, 2008 R2, 2012, or 2012 R2 platforms.

When it comes to changes, version 340.66 adds InnovMetric IMSurvey application to the Optimus whitelist, and fixes the Unigraphics NX8.5 corruption issues encountered on Quadro K2000 cards after performing Section operations.

In addition to that, only for the Server 2008 platform, this new update resolves the problem with OpenGL hardware acceleration on Quadro 2000 graphics card that wouldn’t work.

If you intend to apply the present release on your computer, first make sure your system meets the requirements described above, get the appropriate downloadable package suitable for your configuration, and close any programs and processes that might interfere with the installation.

Now, run the newly-saved executable, follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful update, and allow the wizard to reboot the system. If not requested, make sure you perform a manual reboot in order to make sure all changes take effect properly.

That being said, download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 340.66, and update your graphics card driver to the latest version. Also, constantly check with our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
