Microsoft has outed the October 2013 firmware and driver packages targeted for its Surface Pro tablet that are compatible with the Windows 8 and 8.1 operating systems, both 32- and 64-bit variants.

Each package contains all the needed files for all the components in the tablet, as well as several system firmware updates that have been released through Windows Update.

To be clearer, the release includes the Display Audio, Graphics, and MEI (Management Engine Interface) drivers provided by Intel, the Marvel Bluetooth and wireless LAN files, as well as the Realtek USB card reader driver.

In addition to that, LifeCam, trackpad settings, HD audio, and accessory files are also included in these packages. Moreover, Embedded Controller, System Aggregator, and UEFI firmware, as well as Touch and Type cover drivers and firmware are also included in the release.

That being said, go ahead and download October 2013 Firmware and Driver pack for Microsoft Surface Pro for your currently installed operating system, and apply all the files to keep your device updated.
