Gigabyte has just released a new series of updated drivers for its GA-X79-UD3 (rev. 1.x) motherboard.

Therefore, the board now has driver version 2.71 for the audio chip, 9.0.0.1287 for Intel Management Engine, 9.3.2.1014 for the chipset package, and 3.7.0.1092 for RST (Rapid Storage Technology enterprise) and SATA (the pre-install one).

Intel's updates will work with Windows Vista, 7, and 8, on 32- or 64-bit architecture, while the sound driver from Realtek will add XP to the list of supported OSes.

For those who are not that familiar with this motherboard model, the key features of Gigabyte's GA-X79-UD3 (rev. 1.x) are Dual UEFI BIOS, four channel memory architecture, four-way graphics support (for AMD CrossFire or NVIDIA SLI configurations), as well as the Ultra Durable 3 package.

The list of drivers can be found at the link below. Make sure you pick the right update version according to your OS. Download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”
