Today, MSI has released a new and improved BIOS package developed for its GP60 2PE Leopard gaming notebook, namely version 105, which includes a few changes that should improve the device’s overall performance.

Specifically speaking, if this update is applied, the gaming unit will get an enhanced type11 module, the eModule “NTFS Driver” will be updated to version 05, and the BSOD 0x9F issue encountered during reboot or S5 will be fixed.

As for installing the new BIOS, first you should know that this process should be carefully performed by users who have the knowledge to successfully complete it, but it can also be initiated by a regular user at their own risk. An update failure might damage the BIOS and could even render the notebook unusable.

Therefore, get and extract the archive, copy the “E16GHIMS.105” file onto a formatted USB drive, and turn off the notebook. Now make sure the unit is using the AC power adapter, power on the device, and press the “Del” key until the BIOS screen appears.

Go to Advanced tab, then UEFI BIOS Update, press the “Enter” key twice, and select the USB drive you have previously created from the prompted list. Now browse and select the BIOS file, confirm the selection through the “Yes” option, and press “Enter” once more to initiate the flash process.

At this point the system will automatically restart and begin installing the new BIOS, so make sure you don’t interrupt it in any way until the process is complete and the notebook reboots one last time.

That being said, if you consider installing this release, download MSI GP60 2PE Leopard BIOS 1.05, make sure you have understood all the steps above, and apply the new BIOS. Moreover, you can also download MSI GP60 2PE Leopard Drivers to ensure the best performance on your device.
