14 DAY TRIAL // MSI has made new BIOS packages targeted at some of its motherboards available, which improve the compatible devices’ overall performance and stability.
Specifically speaking, the producer’s team has released BIOS version 1.5, 2.4, 2.5, 3.4, and 17.11 developed for its Z87-G43, Z87M-G43, H87-G43, B85M-G43, and Z77 MPOWER, respectively.
Each of the boards benefit from slightly different changes that include updates for the CPU microcode, the GOP driver (5.0.1035), as well as the USB and MFlash modules.
Moreover, the Management Engine’s version has also been changed to 8.1.50.1456, and the OC memory compatibility improved.
However, if you consider applying the latest BIOS on your board, you should know that it’s recommended to update the version only if the newer package specifically fixes an issue that you have been encountering, otherwise it is just a risk that you take.
