Intel has outed two new BIOS packages developed for its DH87MC and DH87RL desktop boards, namely version 0154 and 0324, respectively, which include a few changes that will improve the devices’ overall performance.

Specifically speaking, Intel’s release improves the fan speed behavior by updating the Fan Speed Control module, enhances the power button menu functionality, and upgrades the VBIOS to version 2179.

In addition to that, DH87MC’s 0154 update adds a new VT-d item in BIOS setup and fixes the TPM issue, and the 0324 BIOS (targeted at the DH87RL board) resolves a POST display problem encountered with certain monitors.

Each release consists of 4 download records: a .BIO file that can be used in the unlikely event that the flash process is interrupted (recovers the BIOS from an unstable state), a .ZIP file that runs only under a DOS environment, and two .EXE files compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes.

That being said, if you consider installing these latest versions, then download BIOS 0154 for Intel DH87MC Board or download BIOS 0324 for Intel DH87RL Board depending on which device you own, carefully apply it, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
