Intel has just outed BIOS package 0037 suitable for its DE3815TYBE NUC board and DE3815TYKHE NUC kit, which updates TXE firmware, as well as Visual BIOS to version 1.0.5.1120 and 2.2.13, respectively.

Along with VBIOS 2.2.13, the devices get password input problems resolved, graphical errors in dropdown box removed, issues with missing temperatures and voltages in cooling performance monitor fixed, as well as several GUI improvements.

In addition to that, through this update the screenshot function won’t cause final bitmap to be tinted blue, beta opt-in requests will not keep popping up anymore, and NUC Home and Cooling pages won’t cause the device to hang when temp or voltage forms didn’t contain any questions.

Moreover, the double-click boot feature now allows BIOS to boot up to the appropriate device, and a new variable check gets added in order to determine whether a OS check is needed before starting Visual Boot Manager.

If build 0037 is applied, reboot hang and spurious messages won’t be encountered in Linux anymore, and “OsIndications” and “BootNext” variable flags will now comply strictly to UEFI 2.4 requirements.

When it comes to installing the present release, you should know that Intel has provided 4 downloadable files, which must be used in differentiated situations.

Specifically speaking, the “TY0037.BIO” package can update the BIOS through an F7 update method, as well as recover it from an unstable state, while the iflash BIOS Update archive is only able to perform an upgrade from a DOS environment.

As for the other two Express BIOS Update executables (one for each bit architecture), these files can help you install version 0037 by simply running them from a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 OS, and following the instructions.

That being said, download Intel DE3815TY NUC BIOS 0037 for the appropriate product, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and carefully update your NUC. Also, constantly check our website to be up to speed with the latest releases.
