Intel has made available a new HD graphics driver targeted at its NUC (Next Unit Computing) and desktop boards, namely version 9.18.10.3257, which is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 OSes, both bit variants.

Besides the obvious display driver, the new release also includes the 6.16.0.3112 audio driver, and if applied, the update will bring a large number of fixes for Intel’s 3rd and 4th generation Core CPU configurations.

Specifically speaking, the non-compatible EDID monitors won’t be stuck to the 1366x768 resolution any more, the discrete graphics system configurations will not have any problems with DWM.exe whatsoever, and the BioShock corruption issues will be history.

In addition to that, many other various problems will be fixed through this update, such as those encountered by Sandra 2013 Cryptography, Battlefield 3, HD audio device, and so on. You can view the full list of changes and compatible devices through the download page of each package.

That being said, follow the link below, and from the list, choose the one that best describes both your board (NUC or Desktop) and OS bit architecture.
