Intel continues the Windows 8 support series with a new release of Rapid Storage Technology driver, both RAID and AHCI packages.

This driver basically offers the necessary tools to connect RAID and AHCI storage controllers. To set up a system for RAID-array, you must have a supported desktop board and Windows operating system, and install a configuration software.

There is no list of changes from the previous release, but we know that the current package supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, and adds the TRIM feature in RAID 0.

For users who wish to install drivers using the F6 installation method, Intel provides both download links and instructions on how this can be done right.

Check out our website or Intel’s Download Center page for the full list of supported desktop boards to make sure you select the proper download package for your system. Download Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (RAID) 11.5.0.1207
