Intel has made available a new Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver targeted at several of its desktop and NUC boards, as well as NUC kits, namely version 19.1, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

When it comes to the suitable devices, the NUC packages are to be applied only on Intel’s D33217GKE, D34010WYB, D53427RKE, D54250WYB, and DCP847SKE boards.

In addition to that, the producer’s D34010WYK, D54250WYK, DC3217IYE, DC53427HYE, and DCCP847DYE NUC kits are also supported by this release.

As for the desktop boards, their latest drivers are suitable for a large number of devices; however, not all units are compatible with each of the aforementioned OSes, so check if your board is specified as a valid product on the description page of the desired downloadable record.

Even though these packages might also be compatible with other operating systems, we do not recommend installing any of the drivers on platforms other than the highlighted ones.

In order to apply version 19.1, simply get and run the appropriate file for your system configuration and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete installation. When done, don’t forget to perform a reboot to ensure that all changes take effect properly.

That being said, from the links below, follow the first one if you want to update your desktop board, or the second if you own an NUC unit, and afterwards click on the downloadable record that is compatible with both the OS and bit variant.
