Intel has made available a new Ethernet Connections CD as well as separate network packages for each of the compatible Windows OSes, namely version 19.3, which includes support for several network controllers and adapters.

Specifically speaking, this new release adds compatibility with Intel’s X710, X710-2, X710-4, XL710-Q1, and XL710-Q2 converged network adapters, and with the X710 (for 10GbE backplane/SFP+) and XL710 (for 10GbE QSFP+ and 40GbE backplane/QSFP+) Ethernet controllers.

In addition to that, version 19.3 also includes support for the producer’s XL710-Q1 and XL710-Q2 Ethernet I/O modules, and the XL710 and X710 virtual functions, and allows speeds of up to 40 GB/s on certain devices.

When it comes to the downloadable files, the producer has made available several packages suitable for each bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, as well as for the Server 2008 and 2012 platforms.

In addition to that, Intel has also provided the Connections CD that includes all drivers compatible with the aforementioned OSes for all the supported Ethernet adapters, connections, and controllers.

However, bear in mind that not all devices are compatible with every Windows platform, therefore check the description page of each download to ensure that your Intel unit is supported. Also, since the package size is over 75MB, it would be best if a download manager be used.

With this in mind, either download Intel Ethernet Connections CD 19.3 if you need all files for all OSes and adapters, or download Intel Network Adapter Driver 19.3 only for the operating system present on your computer.
