After implementing Visual BIOS 2.2.15 through D54250WY and D34010WY NUC BIOS 0035 two months ago, Intel has rolled out a newer version compatible with the same devices, namely 0037, which updates CPU support and adds two new options.

To be clear about the supported products, Intel’s 0037 BIOS can be applied on its D54250WYK and D34010WYK Next Unit Computing (NUC) Kits, as well as on the D54250WYB and D34010WYB NUC boards as these are components of the aforementioned devices, respectively.

When it comes to the new settings, the present update adds new options on the Secondary Power Settings page, which allows configuring whether or not the device wakes from S3, S4, and S5 via CIR.

In addition to that, the BIOS menu will also receive an option on the Legacy Device Config page that will give users the ability to select the CIR Remote Controller Type.

As for downloadable files and package content, this release includes the same driver and firmware versions as the previous BIOS update, and also has available 4 packages describing 3 different upgrade methods: Recovery, iflash, and Express BIOS Update files.

Last but not least, if you intend to apply version 0037, bear in mind that this task is to be performed only when the newer release specifically implements a change that you can use. Also, make sure to use an uninterruptible power supply such as the one ensured by a UPS unit.

With this in mind, download Intel D54250WY NUC BIOS 0037 or download Intel D34010WY NUC BIOS 0037, carefully apply it on your kit (or board), and check our website as often as possible in order to stay informed when a newer version is available.
