Intel has just made available a new Iris and HD Graphics driver, namely version 10.18.14.4206 beta, which drops support for the producer’s 5th generation Broadwell Core processors compared to the previous Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 10.18.14.4170 release.

In addition to that, unlike its earlier graphics build, the present update also leaves Intel’s Pentium 3000 and G3000 series CPUs, as well as its Celeron 2000 series processors out of the compatibility list.

However, despite the aforementioned changes, the 10.18.14.4206 beta driver maintains support for Intel’s Core M CPUs with HD Graphics 5300, and 4th generation Core units with HD 4200, 4400, 4600, and 5000, Iris 5100, and Iris Pro 5200 graphics chipsets.

Moreover, this update can also be applied on system configurations including 5th-gen processors that benefit from Intel’s Iris Graphics 6100, or HD Graphics 5500/6000. Still, make sure your computer is running one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 platforms (either bit variant).

As for the package content, besides the 10.18.14.4206 graphics and 6.16.0.3172 display audio versions, this release also includes the producer’s Graphics Control Panel, Media SDK Runtime, and OpenCL driver.

When it comes to installation, simply save and unzip the appropriate archive for your system’s bit architecture, run the available setup file, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen. Also, don’t forget to perform a reboot either manually or give the wizard permission to do it for you.

That being said, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 10.18.14.4206 Beta, apply it on your computer, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
