Intel has made available a new HD Graphics driver, namely version 10.18.10.3958, which resolves various display corruptions spotted with Microsoft Outlook or when playing DirectX 10 games, as well as a specific DisplayPort Audio issue.

In addition to that, Internet Explorer’s DLL error has been resolved, certain video file formats can now be played in Media Player Classic using Intel’s WiDi technology, and the docking station now recognizes and displays the maximum monitor resolution.

Moreover, display flickering while resuming from sleep will not be encountered anymore, and several other fixes and improvements have been included (to view a detailed list of changes press the “Release Notes” button below).

When it comes to the package content, besides the obvious graphics files, this release also includes OpenCL and Display Audio (6.16.0.3154) drivers, Media SDK Runtime, as well as Graphics Control Panel.

As for the compatible products, build 3958 can be applied on systems containing a 3rd or 4th generation Core CPU, certain Celeron or Pentium processors, or an unit included in Intel’s Atom Processor Z3700 Series.

Still, that’s not all it requires. Your CPU must benefit from an HD Graphics chipset, and also must be powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 operating systems.

Therefore, make sure your configuration is supported by this release, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 10.18.10.3958, apply the package, and check back with our website as often as possible.
