Intel has outed the 0051 BIOS version for its DQ77KB desktop board that fixes the brightness control issue and adds the “Install PK key setup” option in the setup menu.

Moreover, it resolves the threshold’s active value problem when making changes to the Intel Desktop Utilities.

The new version comes with four files: one OS independent file used for recovery, one DOS-based installation file, as well as two Windows-based installation files.

The Recovery BIOS Update file (BH0098.BIO), which can be used when the BIOS update process crashes or is left in an unstable state, as well as the Iflash BIOS Update / Integrator Toolkit BIOS file (BHZ7710H.86A.0098.BI.ZIP), which is a DOS-based update utility, require a CD or USB drive.

The BHZ7710H.86A.0098.EB.EXE and BHZ7710H.86A.0098.EB.WINPE64.EXE Express BIOS Update files are compatible with the 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows, respectively, and don’t need any CD or USB drive.

Bear in mind that the update process is necessary only if it fixes a specific problem, and also be sure not to interrupt the process because the board may not work properly in this case.

So, if you experience the problems described above, follow the link below and choose the update method related link.
