Today, Fujifilm has made available for download several firmware packages targeted at its X series cameras, namely version 1.10 for the X-T1 unit and 1.20 for the XQ1, X-A1, and X-M1 devices, as well as the 2.10, 2.30, and 3.30 updates for its X-E2, X-E1, and X-Pro1 products, respectively.

When it comes to changes, the new releases add compatibility with XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lenses and instax SHARE SP-1 smartphone printer, and modify the aperture display for zoom lenses.

In addition to that, cameras will record sound with a higher quality, the Movie-record button operability has been improved, and the “Exposure compensation/exposure indicator” option in EVF has been enhanced.

For some devices, the updates also resolve various issues encountered in rare cases, such as the one where the XQ1 would stop working during image transfer when pressing the Wi-Fi button, or the problem with the X-A1 unit that displayed gray stripes when used along with an Android smartphone.

However, not all changes apply to every compatible camera; the complete changelog for each camera can be viewed on the description page for a specific model. Also, if you intend to upgrade your device, make sure you are familiar with the installation steps so that no problems are encountered.
