14 DAY TRIAL // Amazon has just rolled out new firmware versions targeted at its Fire HD 6, HD 7, and HDX 8.9 tablets, as well as its Kindle Fire HDX, HDX 8.9 and HD 2nd-gen devices, which include general improvements and performance enhancements, as highlighted in the changelog.
To come clear about the new available versions, Amazon has provided firmware 20.4.5.2 for Fire HD 6 and HD 7 tablets, software update 22.4.5.2 for Fire HDX 8.9 units, as well as versions 11.4.5.2, 13.4.5.2, and 14.4.5.2 supported by Kindle Fire HD 2nd-Gen, HDX, and HDX 8.9 devices, respectively.

After firmware build 4.5.2 has been successfully transferred, terminate the connection, go to Settings > Device > System Update one more time, select “Update,” and allow the Amazon tablet to do its job.
