With the new Intel boards still far away in the future, it's nice to see that some manufacturers are keeping things rolling with motherboards running with other less-hyped chipsets.

It's the case of Asrock, which unveils a new AM3+ board codenamed 960GM/U3S3 FX. This new AMD motherboard is powered by an 8-core AMD CPU and can house up to 16 GB DDR3 in a dual-channel dual-slot configuration. Of course, this calls for more serious investments when changing or updating the memory array, but there's no gain where there's no pain, is it?

Asrock goes full throttle and adds no less than 6 UBS 3.0 ports and dual SATA3 6GB/s connectors able to deliver awesome transfer speeds with your storage devices. 5.1-channel audio is enhanced with THX' TruStudio technology, while the AMD Radeon 3000 integrated graphics chipset makes sure you can run FullHD 1080p Blu-ray content.

The 960GM/U3S3 FX performance also benefits from Asrock's exclusive software features from thr XFast family. The XFast RAM  makes better use of the installed memory even with 32-bit OSes and delivers faster  speeds with a lot of applications.

XFast LAN and XFast USB enhance the connectivity speeds, nicely complementing the host of overclocking tools bundled with the board. Download the drivers for the Asrock 960GM/U3S3 FX board for free and enjoy your computing.
