14 DAY TRIAL // DrayTek has recently released a new update for its Vigor2130 series routers, namely for Vigor2130, Vigor2130n, and Vigor2130Vn. Version 1.5.4 adds new features, such as the configuration of STUN server for TR-609, and also improves the maximum frame size for Ping up to 1500.
To update, download the new DrayTek Vigor2130 series firmware 1.5.4, extract the contents of the archive to an accessible location, and follow the few steps described below. The mentioned link will also provide the release notes for this build.
First, log into your router with administrator rights and, after the web UI is loaded, go to the “Maintenance” menu. Next, click on “Firmware Upgrade” and see if your router didn't come with version 1.5.4 preinstalled.
If that's not your case and you are using a firmware previous to 1.5.4, click the “Browse” button and point out the newly extracted file to the update utility. Select “Upgrade” and confirm the installation in the next screen.
When the setup is complete, the unit restarts and you can now check the version using the same procedure as above.
