DrayTek has recently released firmware version 3.6.6 for its Vigor2920 series routers. This includes the Vigor2920Vn, Vigor2920n and Vigor2920.

The latest rendition adds support for LAN DNS resolution, DNS filter, USB Device Status for modem and disk, wireless auto bandwidth limit management and the Vigor App. Beside these, there are lots of fixes and improvements detailed on the download pages below.

The installation process was extracted from the user's manual and requires you to download the firmware archive and extract it to an accessible location. Next, log into your router and Select “System Maintenance.” In the next screen, click on “Firmware Upgrade” and then browse for the recently extracted file.

Finally, hit the “Upgrade” button and have a little patience. The router will now flash the firmware and, when it completes, the device reboots.

Please make sure you don't force close the router or disconnect its power cord when the setup is ongoing. Doing so may lead to product malfunctions.
