14 DAY TRIAL // MSI has recently made available several new motherboard units, namely the Z97 Express Chipset-based devices, and along with this release, the producer has outed their appropriate drivers as well.
When it comes to the gaming series, MSI has released the Z97 GAMING 3, 5, and 7 devices, the Z97I GAMING AC and Z97M GAMING motherboards, as well as the Z97-G43 GAMING, -G45 GAMING, and -GD65 GAMING units.
As for the overclocking section, the producer has made available the Z97 MPOWER, Z97 MPOWER MAX AC, and the Z97 XPOWER AC motherboards.
For the aforementioned units, MSI has outed all the drivers required by the boards in order to work at their highest performance.
Most of the available drivers such as the Graphics (build 3412), Rapid Storage (RST), Thunderbolt, Smart Connect, Wireless Display (WiDi), Management Engine (ME), and Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU), are developed by Intel.
In addition to that, Intel also provides functionality for the wireless and Bluetooth features and, along with ASMedia, helps USB 3.0 ports to deliver appropriate speed.
As for other producers, Realtek ensures the well-functioning of the high-definition audio component, ASMedia also provides a SATA driver, and Atheros has developed a network-related package compatible with some of the devices.
Most of the packages are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, and, even though other platforms might be suitable, we don’t recommend installing these files on other OSes.
