EVGA has recently unveiled the latest addition to its motherboard lineup, namely the Z97 Stinger Core 3D, Z97 FTW, and Z97 Classified devices. Following this announcement, the producer has just made available the drivers required by the boards in order to provide maximum performance.

Most of these files are suitable for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, and, even though other OSes might be compatible, we do not recommend installing them on platforms other than the specified ones.

As for the producers that have developed the available drivers, LucidLogix provides the Virtu MVP 2.0 graphics package (version 3.0.108), and Realtek and Creative ensure the well-functioning of the HD audio component.

In addition to that, while Intel takes care of most of the chipset drivers, such as ME (Management Engine), Rapid Storage (RST), and Preinstall drivers, as well as of the USB 3.0 and Ethernet components, Marvel provides functionality for the e-SATA controller.

As for applying these packages, first make sure the driver’s requirements meet your system characteristics, get all the desired files (extract if necessary), run the available setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation.

Moreover, after each driver update, don’t forget to perform a system reboot so that all changes take effect properly.

Therefore, even though the aforementioned devices are still in the “Pre-Order” state, if you intend to buy one of the boards, download all the drivers by following the links below and be the first to stretch the Z97-based unit’s performance.
